Freshwater pearls are popular becuase of their subtle colours and variable size and shape, but the glass pearls also cleverly imitate this affect with dimpled surfaces or irregular shapes, yet providing attractive pastel shades as well as the classic ivory or cream pearl tone. The luminescent pearl look teams especially well with gold, crystal, and gemstones such as hematite, amethyst, lapis and malachite.
Glass pearls can be bought individually, with quantity discount for 30 or more beads, while the freshwater pearls are offered as complete 40cm bead strings.
