Why using kits is a good way to get started in Bead Jewellery making

Sometimes it's hard to know exactly how to select beads that go together, or even how to put them into an effective design even when you have chosen your beads. That's where our bead kits come in, drawn from successful designs which have sold as made up jewellery, and designed by our expert designers to be commercially successful yet affordable as finished jewellery.  There are  jewellery kit styles to suit every pocket, and every level of skill. They make excellent presents for beginners, or just for the seasoned maker who would like a little inspiration. Many of the simpler styles are less than a fiver, including most of the earring designs.

Each kit is attractively packaged with a coloured card header, and includes detailed instructions, tailored to that kit, in many cases. To see the finished design, simply refer to the finished design image here on this site, where you can see full images of all the kit styles, though there is nothing stopping you from simply using the colour matched collection of beads in each kit to create your own design.

For the beginner, we recommend the floater or illusion style necklace kits, prefix code FLO-. This is a very popular option, as the necklaces are fairly quick and easy to make, and the skill fast to master, and because they have less beads, they are all keenly priced, mostly less than £5.00. For the experienced maker, who may relish the challenge of a longer project, there are the more complex necklace kits involving skilled loop turning to produce a stunning intricate desigb. And there is everything inbetween, including simple thong style necklaces with easy threading using large holed beads. In addition most  necklace kits has a matching earring kit design, to make an attractive set. This is also a very popular choice.

In fact many of our customers who have gone on to sell jewellery at craft fairs, charity bazaars etc started by buying our kits and making them up to sell, so they are proven bestsellers.
